The East African nation cements its position as the continent’s top travel destination with multiple international honors

Kenya has reaffirmed its status as Africa’s leading tourism destination after securing top honors at this year’s World Travel Awards.
The country swept several major categories, with the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve, the vibrant city of Nairobi, and Jomo Kenyatta International Airport each earning prestigious recognition.



The Masai Mara, world-renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and annual wildebeest migration, was crowned Africa’s Leading National Park, a title it has held multiple times. The park continues to draw thousands of visitors from around the world eager to experience its unmatched wildlife and cultural encounters with the Maasai community.

Nairobi, often called the “Green City in the Sun,” was named Africa’s Leading Business Travel Destination, celebrating its blend of modernity, innovation, and natural beauty. Meanwhile, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport claimed the award for Africa’s Leading Airport, recognizing its growing role as a regional hub and gateway to East Africa.
