Nigerian superstar deepens ties to Ghana with new lifestyle business vision

Nigerian music sensation Mr Eazi has once again expressed his deep connection to Ghana, revealing plans to open a coffee shop with a speakeasy-style lounge hidden at the back.
The idea was shared during a recent episode of “How Far Podcast,” which he co-hosts with his wife, actress and entrepreneur Temi Otedola.
While discussing creative business ventures, Mr Eazi mentioned the concept casually, but it quickly sparked excitement among fans. Though Nigerian by nationality, the artist’s relationship with Ghana runs deep. He was raised in the country and spent much of his formative years there, experiences that played a major role in shaping both his sound and his entrepreneurial mindset.

Mr Eazi’s bond with Ghana has continued well into his global success. Last year, he and Temi Otedola tied the knot, becoming one of Africa’s most celebrated power couples. During Detty December in Ghana, Mr Eazi delivered a standout performance and went on to pledge $2 million toward efforts aimed at helping build a stadium in the country, further cementing his commitment to Ghana’s development.
The proposed coffee shop and speakeasy would represent more than just a business venture—it reflects Mr Eazi’s desire to contribute culturally and economically to a place he considers home. If realized, the project could become a unique hub for creatives, blending music, conversation, and community in true Mr Eazi fashion.
