India Celebrates 77th Republic Day with Grand Parade in New Delhi
Rafale fly-past and cultural pageantry showcase the nation’s military strength and diversity.

India marked its 77th Republic Day with a vibrant and meticulously choreographed parade along Kartavya Path in New Delhi, drawing attention from audiences at home and around the world.
The annual celebration, which commemorates the adoption of India’s Constitution in 1950, blended military precision, cultural pride, and technological progress in a display of national unity.
The parade featured marching contingents from the armed forces, paramilitary units, and police, all moving in synchronized formations.

Advanced military hardware rolled past the saluting base, highlighting India’s growing defense capabilities and emphasis on indigenous production. One of the most anticipated moments came when Rafale fighter jets roared overhead in a dramatic fly-past, leaving tricolor trails across the sky and earning loud applause from spectators.
Cultural tableaux from various states and union territories added color and rhythm to the event, showcasing India’s rich heritage, traditional art forms, and development achievements. Schoolchildren also performed choreographed routines celebrating themes of innovation, empowerment, and environmental awareness.
Dignitaries, foreign guests, and thousands of citizens attended the ceremony under tight security. Across the country, similar celebrations, flag-hoisting ceremonies, and community events reflected patriotic spirit, making Republic Day a powerful reminder of India’s democratic journey and diverse identity.
